Welcome!  My name is Anton.

I write an eclectic mix of stories with complex characters living in diverse world settings. Many of the stories within each setting are interconnected sharing characters and concepts.

Most of my books can be read independently of one another. A few books should be read in order, and these are labeled as a series. My books share the unifying concept of twenty fundamental mystic energies which forms the basis of magic and science in all of the worlds. The energies give rise to the overall setting which is named Mystic Realms.

Within the body of my work, you will find stories from the following genres: sci-fi, fantasy, horror, superhero, and dystopian. My books are grouped into collections named for the nature of the stories.

Here are six of the main collections of my stories:

Aberrantum

Once you know the truth, no light will ever seem bright enough to dispel the darkness. There are monsters dwelling in the shadows hidden on the fringes of the rational world just out of sight. Down through the ages, they have waited for those unfortunate, unsuspecting, ill-prepared victims who stumble into their lairs. The average person lives in blissful ignorance of the danger. These are horror stories where tragic victims struggle to survive, and out-matched hunters of the preternatural attempt to save them.

AetherSteam

AetherSteam is the revolutionary mechanical design that combines ancient mystic energies, called Aether, and the modern science of steam-power. The scent of burning incense and whispered invocations meld with the smell of cinders and the clank of spinning gears. The future seems to be an endless horizon of possibility, but the extraordinary machines are draining magic from the world. The stories of this setting explore the tensions between modern industrial practices and ancient arcane traditions.

DoomFell

Some say humanity’s greatest achievements occurred in the decades just before the end of their civilization. In those final years, advances in technology altered the world. The people lived in technological opulence where every person enjoyed prosperity. Then, suddenly, the technology failed, and civilization crumbled. These post-apocalyptic stories are tales of survival in a shattered world of degenerate mutants, reanimated corpses, living-nightmares, and silica-sentient robots.

.

Epical

In a world where the average person can gain superpowers, being Super is the next big thing. Epicals are newly invented media devices that project three-dimensional experiences into the user’s mind. Fans feel like they are truly part of the action in a way that is not possible using books, video, or other media. Wearing headsets, they enjoy the serialized missions of their favorite Supers. The stories in this setting focus on average people as they become Super in a world of costumed heroes and villains.

Everstars

A few million persons escaped the annihilation of Earth by fleeing on a starship called the Ark. Reaching the New Eden Galaxy, humanity rebuilt their civilization settling along one of the galactic spirals. Society is composed of Humans, Augmented Humans, Androids, GenEs, and Mystics. Science and mysticism compete to create a culture of starships and sorcery. The stories in this Sci-Fi setting focus on the journey of humanity through the endless Black.

Guildhall

Five Gods created the world. In the Age of Nature, they filled the world with living things. During the Age of Life, peace and prosperity existed, but the realm was torn asunder in the Age of Death. The Five Gods were slain, and tyrants ruled until a group of heroes established Guildhall, a democratic trade organization that returned peace to the world by creating an Age of Order. The High Fantasy stories focus on heroic Guildsmen as they struggle to prevent the final age, the Age of Chaos.
